The HKU Visiting Research Professors Scheme was established in 2009 by the HKU University Research Committee, to enhance the University’s research competitiveness through establishing significant international collaborations, through well-planned visits of scholars with strong international reputations.  Each VRP appointment has a total visit duration of 3-6 months over a period of 3-4 years.
