How to get to the Department of Chemistry

• A. Getting to the Chong Yuet Ming Chemistry Building by MTR:

  

  1. Exit HKU MTR station at Exit A, and walk through long green corridor of HKU memorabilia to reach the lifts.

  

  2. Take lift to Exit A2. Turn left onto Upper University Street.

  

  3. Walk through Upper University Street, keep right.

  

  4. Keep following the covered podium past the Rayson Huang Theatre and Runme Shaw building

  

  5. At the end of the covered podium, enter the Chong Yuet Ming Amenities Center.

  

  6. Take the lift or escalator to the 5th floor/top floor of the building

  

  7. Exit the building by the glass doors at the Yuet Ming auditorium

  

  8. Follow the covered walkway to the Chong Yuet Ming Chemistry building

• B. Taking a taxi to the Chong Yuet Ming Chemistry Building

  • Option 1:  enter by the official entrance:  this map (link) can guide the driver inside the campus.  Follow the route in red and exit at the covered driveway at LG3 level of the Chemistry building
  • Option 2:  enter by the Lyttleton Road Gate:  this map (link)can guide the drive to let you off at the end of Lyttleton Road, which is a side gate to HKU and it is a ramp and 30 m from the Chong Yuet Ming Chemistry Building
